Hale Alexander

Hale Alexander is an SSFH novelist, black-coffee obsessionist, and pessimistic optimist. She once made V.E. Schwab gag because she asked her to sign her sweat-encrusted shoe.

When she isn’t glued to writing and all of the other activities that count as writing in this economy (reading, marketing, toeing through museums, drinking spiritually-enhancing amounts of caffeine on an empty stomach, and having a staring contest with the sky), she spends her time quaking at her day job, hiking, checking for ticks, and splattering unlikely combinations of food around the kitchen. Do you even lift, bro?

Her short fiction has appeared in THE MILL literary magazine. By day, she works as a data analyst for a mental health agency in Ohio. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, a Bachelor of Education, and a Master of Library and Information Science in Applied Data Science.
